V-Hive

 

V-Hive is a modular enclosure designed for direct compatibility with the most popular 3D Printers in the market. The printer is mounted directly on the enclosure frame, improving rigidity and reducing vibration. The enclosure insulates the printer from drafts, dust, and fluctuations in temperature and air humidity, while insulating the user from machine noises and fumes.

V-Hive design is optimized for an easy and straightforward assembly process that allows for gradual expansion of an enclosed print farm. V-Hive Modules are stackable and connectable, allowing you to sort multiple modules in different grid types.

INCLUDED:

- All necessary profiles, brackets, fasteners, door handles, door foam seals, panels rubber seals and magnets to assemble the enclosure.
- All V-Hive enclosures include 2x 3030 extrusions and respective mounting hardware for printer mounting.
- Optional, only if selected: Printed Parts - Enclosure Basics - Includes magnet mounts, front panel mounts, stack locator (stacking tabs) and endcaps for the mounting profiles.
- Optional, only if selected: Printed Parts - 3D Printer Helpers - Includes IEC holder, Rat Rig Spool holder, spline (wire guide with clips), and Panel grommet pair(panel collar+nut)
- STL files for the V-Hive Printed Parts can be downloaded here

NOT INCLUDED:

- The enclosing panels themselves are not supplied, the user is meant to source them locally. A 4mm thick polycarbonate sheet is suggested.
- DXF files for the panels can be downloaded here

3D Printer Compatibility:

WARNING: *For compatibility you need to measure the total working volume of your machine.
i.e. In most Cartesian style printers the bed protrudes outside the machine frame while moving along the Y axis.
